The Rev. Chad Jones, Rector
Father Chad Jones began as Priest-in-Charge at The Church of the Resurrection in February of 2016. Together, he and the parish have embraced a calling to nurture, heal and grow small congregations — beginning with Resurrection. He happily accepted a call to serve as Rector in 2019 and also holds a place on the diocesan staff as bishop’s Canon for Congregational Development. He is also an honorary canon of Christ Church Cathedral in New Orleans and makes a mean pot of gumbo. Chad is married to Kim and they have three children: Patrick, Andrew and Lily.
Elizabeth Nash, Parish Administrator and Director of Children’s & Family Ministries
Elizabeth Nash joins the Resurrection Staff as the Director of Children’s and Family Ministry. She will also assist in revamping our accounting procedures in order to bring all financial operations in house.
Janice Brush, Parish Secretary
Janice Brush is the chief among our church volunteers. She serves several days a week as the parish secretary and handles almost anything — from accounts payable to scheduling.
Dustin & Susannah Bledsoe, Youth Ministries

He holds nine Grammy Signature Awards and has conducted throughout the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean, including Carnegie Hall, Mont St-Michel, and in audience with Pope John Paul II at the Vatican. He holds the DMA, MMA, and MM degrees in Conducting from the Yale School of Music and Institute of Sacred Music. He did further study with George Guest at St. John’s College, Cambridge University; and with Daniel Roth at St-Sulpice, Paris. Karen Nicolosi, Director, Resurrection Children’s Choir
Karen Nicolosi comes to the Church of the Resurrection after nearly forty years as Music Director at Christ Episcopal Church Tuscaloosa, Alabama. During her tenure there she created a comprehensive choral program for 3 year olds through adults.
In addition to the five church choirs, she founded The Alabama Boychoir and The Alabama Choir School which were six auditioned choirs that served the West Alabama community. All but the youngest choirs toured annually in such venues as the Washington National Cathedral, Carnegie Hall, Westminster Abbey, and Canterbury Cathdrals.
John Shuster, Senior Warden

He and his wife Susan have been members of Church of the Resurrection since 2015. From 2016- 2018, he served as a member of the Resurrection Vestry, including a term as Senior Warden. He and Susan have four adult children and three adorable granddaughters.
